Same list I made, I even like S&S over Good times. But Good Times had more of a cultural and pop impact. I mean JJ and DYNOMITE was a catch phrase everyone was saying in the 70s. We've all made jokes about Penny getting beat. We know DAMN, DAMN, DAMN. James dying was as memorable as a real relative dying. We even remember when Keith injured his leg trying to get the family out the ghetto.

The only memorable scene in pop culture from S&S was when Grip claimed he was Lamont's real father and Esther went off.

IDC IDC IDC Sanford and Son is arguably the funniest Black sitcom ever. Is it the most iconic No. But IMO that shyt is easily the best, and the fukking prototype for the modern Black sitcom.

Definitely overrated. The show wasn't even funny like that. No way the show is funnier than Sanford and son, good times, and the Jeffersons.

It ain't even seeing everybody hates chris.

The symbolism is nice, but the fresh Prince of bel air did it also and it was much better show.

When I look at a sitcom the #1 priority is the comedy. The cosby show imo ain't even sniffing the top 5.

Bernie Mac has to be on because the concept was so unique.
A different world because it revitalized the importance of black schools and gives us looking back a glimpse of the black excellence and pride of the late 80//early 90s
fresh prince up to season 4. After that, quality went down but that's my personal opinion.
Cosby Show for obvious reasons, even though…well you know. Showed the world that there were black upper class families who didn't c00n out.
Sanford and Son but I didn't understand the show until I was much older. Lamont Still a ham though.
