There will literally cease to be food for the nation's people and cease to be gas for their industry if they buck the system because of how intertwined the systems are. French Africa is in a death grip. Notice the effect of just a minor European country like Ukraine going offline on African grain supply. Now multiply that effect by 100 fold for a major economy like France .
It's easy for us to have revolutionary ideas on our side of the Atlantic when none of these stakes affect our lives, but that revolution you are suggesting is the equivalent of imposing famine on those west and central African nations.

NATO is not France. You proved my point with that. Talking about an organization of multiple countries to prove they’re strong. If France was worth a damn, they wouldn’t depend on the US to be their police force.

Africa needs to buy their infrastructure back. It's the only way to have autonomy in running their country without any other country's help

My favorite kicker of all certain African French countries have to fly into France before they can fly into a neighboring African country. It’s actually madness

The DGSE are masters of working in shadows. Everyone talks about the CIA MI5/6 MSS FSB Mossad ISI etc etc most people I would assume don't even know the DGSE exists let along what country they are from. But Africa knows about them and see them even more of an issue in the region then the CIA.
They are well respected in the intelligence community and for them that's all thst matters.
