France got humiliated by Germany in WWII, lost to Vietnam, lost to Algeria. The last time they were relevant as a military, black people were in chains. If anything you said was true about France, Macron wouldn't have been cozying up to Russia in the last 3-4 years. They would have been taking a much firmer stance but, they chose diplomacy because they know they're not shyt military wise.
They are reliant on the U.S. The fact you would argue against it is asinine. This is why Macron was in the news talking about Europe needing to build a stronger army after Trump was asking why we should care about non-American interests

If the U.S. wasn't there to play big brother, Russia would have ran over Western Europe.
Right from the horse's mouth
Strong militaries don't rely on the U.S. to defend them
If you combined country #2 to country #10, they still wouldn't match the U.S.
I talked about France specifically. You brought up NATO. Which proves my point. If I talk about a country's military, and your first response is to bring up a U.S.-led organization, that says it all. With that logic, all 31 members of NATO have strong militaries.
