Is this true about working at FedEx, USPS, and UPS?

I've aged out of warehouse work.

When I was my mid 20s and struggling to build my career, I got laid off from an office job and thought I would work construction in the mean time until I could find another job in my field. Because my money was starting to get tight. I lasted less than two hours :heh: Had us out there working like slaves while a bunch of guido Italian cacs were eating hot dogs chatting in the truck. I walked right past that cac and went home. It worked out for me but, I promised myself then and there I'd never resort to menial labor again :hubie:

The amount of turn over now is insane
The Post Office used to be a job that was hard to get but once you got it
You were on your way to middle class
The average carrier is putting in damn near 80 hours a week
Not every two weeks
A week
Carriers are mando overtime even if they don’t want it
People have to get FMLA or doctors notes for restrictions
Clerks are pulling almost the same crazy hours
So I don’t know where you nikkas getting your information
Distribution centers maybe different in different areas
But Houston ain’t one of them
Minneapolis ain’t one of them
LA/San Francisco/Oakland ain’t one of them
Dejoy is consolidating both offices and plants to make the Post Office run more “efficient” but it’s destroying the Post Office
I don’t know when you nikkas claiming the distribution centers are cake walks worked there but they ain’t no more
Post Office didn’t even hire holiday help this year and my friends are getting murked in Houston right now because of some dumb shyt
I understand Fedex, UPS, DHL and whoever else are different
But ain’t no way in hell you boys know what you talking about when it comes to the USPS:unimpressed:
Damn it's like that? I was about to apply. My boy still do routes they got him in the 60s more west than east by whites and mexicans

I think the only manual labor job that pays decent is the ones in the auto factories. Butt that's cuz the UAW is strong as hell.

plants in the south don't really have unions.

I think they are trying to get in..... Mercedes has like 1500 workers signed up for UAW.

Those Asian car manufacturers are hard to get in though. They'll hire illegals for the work, and currently are under other company names.

But the work is nothing near what we're talking about in this thread, you're right.

Oh, I'm going by what I know up here, cuz we have a ford factory here in the city, and I was dating a broad that worked there. she was definitely in the UAW.

Yeah, I just left a driving job for one of the car manufacturers down here. Got to see what was going on inside first hand. 2 car manufacturers at the same plant.

These companies are always looking for a way to get around rules.

I did a quick search and the word robot hasn’t been mentioned :francis: There’s a storm brewing that I hope brehs are peeping

AI/robots are gonna cut a ton of jobs

Migrants are going to take a ton of jobs

Black women college rates are skyrocketing while black male college rates are sinking

While that’s happening, we have a poisonous culture that’s pushing AGAINST college.

Next generation of nggas gon be threading a real thin needle

Just remember what you and @BaggerofTea stand on at this moment when migrants have taken all the trade jobs and none of you, or your life skill deficient kids can’t even change a tire or snake a sink while getting you and yours head knocked off money wise to have someone do the job for them…

If the job paid $35 an hour, I would’ve considered it. There’s no reason to work a grueling physically taxing job for shyt wages, minimal benefits and minimal skills that are being taught to you for the future. America doesn’t have a job problem, we have a greed and wage problem which is why we have to exploit third world workers who think $10 an hour is a comeup.
