kyrie was playing tremendous defense game 1...

yes love defense sucks but on small ball you can put him at the 5.. i have no worries of him on green but green would be out of the paint..

you can put love in when Lee is on the floor..

you can rotate Ky-shump-Delly on curry

you can rest lebron so he can actually play defense and not conserve energy

defense crumbled in the 4th.. how is that playing better defense? because on stretches they had their best defense on the floor?

why settle for stretch of defense when you can all all game long defense?

they had to use their 4th quarter defense the whole game.. sure it LOOKED more defensive but really the defense was defeating themselves.

TBH I think Cleveland discovered their true identity when Love went down. Depth is important and Love is no bum, but in this particular case I'm not positive that he would've been a game-changer against this GS team. Most of Green's attacks are off the pick and roll, and Mozgov/Thompson just had to wait for him in the paint with their size/muscle. Imo he would've steam-rolled over Love.

I think OP is right though, Mavs finals win was epic, they beat a loaded healthy Miami big 3 team, Dirk is a legend, got his ring, they won in 7? i cant remember, I just remember it was an epic finals. The heats back 2 back was classic, because it was bron getting his first 2 rings, the Spurs did Lebron dirty last year that wont be forgotten, this finals was ok I guess, but the most special thing that will be remembered is Lebron just balling out, but coming up short. The bay area is one of the most expensive places to live, would have been nice that a sh*t hole like Cleveland got something good to happen to them.
