I've never really owned a watch before so I don't know any brands apart from Rolex.. I saw this watch on sale for $180..

I like the blue and gold colors.. is this watch a piece of shyt?

It's about what it is. A $100 watch. Bc of the name ull probably get people thinking it's a 300 watch. I personally wouldn't get one. If you have 180 to spend go buy a Hugo Boss or save ur money until you can afford a Tissot quartz

Just searched Tissot Quartz and saw one I could probably afford right now, it's 430 n i think that the cheapest available.I wasn't planning on spending that much...

^That is a much nicer watch. See tissot is an actual watch company, Michael Kors is a fashion company. So if tissot is designing a car they are designing an engine. If Michael Kors is desiging a car they are just doing the outside and stuffing a generic cheap engine under the hood

I understand what you are saying, breh.. its worth paying the extra for the work thats been put into it. IMO it's alot to spend on a watch but I just got a xmas bonus..

You know any other watches in this price range I can have a look at?

Love the actual watch. Not a huge fan of the band but that's just because I prefer more formal bands like stainless or leather.

Way better purchase for you and better investment tbh.

Edit:

If you DO go with Tissot make sure you know how to pronounce the brand when people ask. It's pronounced Tusew...sounds like Merlot the wine.

I was thinking Tag Heuer or Bulova would be a good look with a solid movement. I would also suggest Seiko but the other two choices are a better look, the latter is the better watch.

All designer watches are trash. If your going to invest in a watch ( it is an investment believe it or not), get one from a watch company. You could get a Seiko 5 that looks a lot better and would last you a lot longer

I wouldn't say it's a piece of shyt. MK watches are basically fossil watches, I think they are made by fossil.

I personally don't like watches that "pretend to be expensive".

But if you like the way it looks go for it.
