Is this whole Mexican vs Black thing a SoCal thing?

at the end of the day people are people. Some are going to like you, some arent. You cant just say "all the Mexicans are racist".
It all boils down to poor people fighting over scraps. It was the same way when it was Irish vs Italians in the cities.
Areas that have poor black & poor mexicans living next to each other are going to have a little bit of tension when you mix in the gang element.
Youre only going to see this in places where Mexicans have been in the area for generations though because people who just immigrated here havent adapted to the American gang lifestyle yet (why you see people from NYC saying all the mexicans around them are short and nice).

From what I understand the valley is a buffer zone between the nortenos and surenos. Up in Merced and Sac the nortenos are more prevalent and down towards Bakersfield the surenos are around. I'm right in the middle. In Fresno the Bulldogs are big gang here and these dudes hate nortenos. I don't know if they're aligned with the surenos or anything but these dudes hate the color blue.

In any case we've had some..... incidents with these dudes on some racial stuff. Few years ago they were popping shots at black folks like they were in LA. It's definitely not something set in stone but there are definitely some racial undertones. For the most part we try not to be around each other.

Idk, but i do know that some of them get mad when they see a black dude with a good looking mexican chick.

I used to post on random sections of yelp and i started browsing the LA group.

There was this thread about black guys and mexican chicks and it was the same guy who posted in the other threads similar to it. He was saying things like " y would a mexican chick go for a black dude when they got mexicans?? haha they know where it's at" "its ok, they only get the fat ones" "no self respecting mexican girl would go for a black guy it's all about LA RAZA". hehe:

It's amazing how insecure some men can get when they see one of their chick's with a black dude.

The mexicans on the west coast must be different because the mexicans on the east coast are all short and friendly super mario looking ass nikkas. None of them seem threatening.

Yes there is a race war, people here either don't live by Mexicans or uncle toms living in the burb's.

L.A. is the worst, 204th street killed a black girl a few blocks down the streets. Not too long after, they killed a black mom, teens etc.
I now live in SD, there is less explicit hatred because there is less gangs. However, there is still tensions. Mexicans are not our friends, don't be fooled.
