I'm convinced most Americans are dumb as hell
Ive been convinced of that for a while now, though the stupid usually speak the loudest. A lot of Americans have the capability, potential and resources not to be, but don't care to put in the legwork to truly learn. Even in school, most students are there learning how to get good grades through strategy and memorization rather than actually learning the material in a way to later apply it. Of course, there are also many intelligent Americans, but you don't hear from them as much as the idiots.
