All Ive seen in my years alive is the industry and the media continually present watered down images of Black Men.you know "the white voice"? or removing bass out of your voice for your 9-5?
this is that taken to an extreme.
there seems to be this idea that black men have to either be hyper masculine or hyper feminine. we're either thugs and sex objects or fabulous gays and fashion trendsetters
the regular breh with a regular life and job who games, posts on the coli, and has a regular girlfriend doesn't seem to exist in hollywood. the caricature of black people is a scourge that subsists even after hundreds of years. it's maddening
We cant even be multifacted and have a mutitude of qualities...
If we dont fit into one of these categories...we're invisble.

The tipping point was when Black voters in California voted against gay marriage back around 2009. This stood out even more because white people remarked that Black people only care about Civl Rights when it comes to their own issues and not .others
(The irony is that in total more white people voted against Gay marriage in Cali but Black voters were focused on more.)
Ever since then it's has been ON.
Before the Black vote against gay marriage we NEVER saw the "agenda" to this extent.
It didn't have much to do with trying to breed out black people by having them go gay, especially with the hundreds of thousands of straight couples having Black children.
I may make a thread about this.
