3-6 mafia, and in particular juice and paul's production, is probably the most influential anything ever in hip hop--without them trap doesn't exist the way it does, and trap has taken over the entire spectrum of popular music. In terms of influence they are so far beyond anyone else it's comical to even consider an alternative imo. Case closed

A whole biter based genre had an entire headlining pop explosion called crunk. Based off one triple six mafia record alone.
If not for triple six. No one knows to mine a screw tape as a pop construct.

shyt Three 6 had a Screwed song on their debut album in appreciation. Screw created a whole subgenre of rap

It’s almost like they were blackballed in my city, NO Body was playing they shyt anywhere here.
From the south, Miami Bass music had an influence up here in Detroit in the early 90’s. But outside of Project Pat’s Mista Don’t Play album, Three 6 Music never got any play in Detroit, in the Streets or on the Radio. Now outside of the “Slob On My Knob” song that would get a few spins but even that was more so underground. Detroit cats ain’t really feel the Three 6 style of music, why? idk because we definitely listened to OutKast, UGK and 8 Ball and MJG.

The Issue is culturally. Since both camps of squeeky and zirk. To triple six subscribed to this misappropriated ideal. That allowed flaug'n to take place. That misappropriated squeeky and zirk for triple six. In that misappropriation and alternative culturally awry based practices of both. It opened the license for the gateway origins of squeeky and zirk.

that would segregate from the pop explosion of west coast gangsta rap. to become its own entity separate from west coast music. Similar to the creation of major league baseball having a midwest division. When originally a midwest or southern team was aligned in a western conference. In that separation and independence of being a west coast construct.

Screw was able to gain mainstream drawing appeal. From the pop boom of crunk. Which again was derived from just one triple six mafia record.
In timeline comparison, screw has never and still never had screw become an entire pop construct from one screw record. Where an entire region gain mainstream pop notoriety. As well as an entire name.
