Too much tilapia can cause inflammation because of the omega-6 content. I wish Salmon was as cheap and not so dry. Tilapia is the best tasting fish to me.

yea I did...I was told they were engineered to clean out sewers n shyt. Literally eat garbage. I fish a couple times a year never caught 1. Figured its tru

Nah that's not true. Places like lake Victoria which is huge there's tons of them there..I think problem might be.. I have to confirm is that they are very invasive and wipe out other species.

I used to eat fresh caught Tilapia as a child from Lake Victoria which is in East Africa. It was amazing

I'm by the lake now. Just got a bunch of fresh fish who's names I don't know yesterday for cheap. My aunt got a house there and there's this lady who brings them in a basket and slaughters them straight from the lake. I want to get a large one and get a bunch of fillets and put in my freezer :banderas:

Yea but most fish you have both options at the store, farm or fresh caught

Tilapia, however, from my experience they don’t bother providing fresh caught options, it’s all farmed. No bueno
This 100%.

My store always has fresh wild caught salmon and the farmed shyt. The fresh ALWAYS looks better so that's an easy choice.

Sometimes I'll get tilapia to replace what would have been a "bad meal" like cheeseburgers or hotdogs. It takes on the flavor of anything you eat (marinate it in jerk sauce) but it's a trash fish.

My moms is pretty good at frying it. Honestly it's really good if you fry it right...like a cleaner tasting catfish but you gotta season the fish/batter well.
