Can anyone explain to me how someone has been playing basketball that long as a SG can't shoot at all? Did Tony Allen always get by by being a lockdown defender? Yet he can shoot freethrows fine

He did get better at shooting in his old age though, a PG not being able to shoot is something I can overlook because of playmaking/passing/rebounding etc. Just figured a SG would at least be able to keep defenses honest with his shot. Allen is a fantastic defender and hustle player though.

Jason Kidd isn't a 2 guard with a scoring priority. He came into the league as a floor general that makes other players better and has always been a good player finishing around the basket.

Despite that, he's like 2nd or 3rd all time in 3pters made.
