as it is now, nostalgia is the lifeblood of the industry. not bleeding edge tech, not breaking new ground, but replaying shyt we've already played, desperately clutching onto the past..
this year's E3 was a festival of dreams, with sony being the puppet master, but playing FFVll remake won't make you feel like its 1997 again. shenmue lll won't be a groundbreaking experience like the original was.
embrace new experiences, embrace VR. celebrate the past but learn to let some of this old shyt go. but I suppose that's too much to ask of gamers
