Word that stands out to me is "too old". Previous boyfriends got to enjoy the carefree and fun aspects of a relationship. The current boyfriend is burdened by expectations.

People dont seem to want to be capable, they prefer to be victims

I think there are two aspects to it.

If people are transparent about their mental health issues, I have all of the time in the world for them.

What I don't have time for pop psychology and treating transgressions as part of their journey. People like that do struggle with accountability. They make themselves the centre of issues so that they never have to consider how their actions harm others.
