Vegeta beat Goku in the first fight. He only lost cause it was 4 against 1. Add to the fact that Akira hates Vegeta makes sense why he would never get the win. If it wasn't for Vegeta Cell and Buu would of won.

2).Akira is the creator. Thats like saying Mark Twain hated Huckleberry Finn so thats why both his parents died and he had to roam the South as an orphaned teenager. Or George RR Martin hated Tyrion so he made him an unattractive imp. Or Charles M Shultz hated Charlie Brown so thats why he never got to kick the football. The story IS the story. Vegeta is the Crown Prince Of Getting His ASS handed to him and that is what it is.

If you was born from royalty in a culture where there's a caste system and saw a low class member amongst your people surpass you and became what you believed you were destined for, you'd feel the same way as Vegeta
