1. Ray Allen wasn't the best player on any of his championship teams. You're holding Ray winning chips over Vince like Allen carried those teams. That's a fukking joke.

you cant go by that best player on the team logic. Wade was not the best player on the last 2 Heat championship teams yet Wade legacy for those 2 years alone trump anything Vince ever did. Same thing applies to Westbrook/Durant or Kawhi when he won his chip. Klay Thompson may soon have 2 chips and wouldve been a crucial part in getting them while still not being the best or perhaps 2nd best on the team. After a few more great years he wouldve passed Vince. I dont think Vince is a product of bad luck, he looked great early on but who did carry at what time and where?

How u gonna hate Ray Allen when that dude saved the celtics so many times. Ray allen single handely won finals games every time he played.

Breh also got like 30 plus game winners for yall:mjlol:

The dude was 2 points away from leading his squad to finals in 2001... & We all know how bad the officiating was in that series :francis:

You're a Ray Allen fan. Go away.

If Harden were to die tonight, he wouldn't have a better career than Carter. And he wouldn't make it into the Hall of Fame before Carter.

yeah, Harden isnt as great as Vince yet, but I do agree that his 2014-15 season was admirable but this year made it seem like a fluke. he hasnt had the longevity but he has had MVP worthy play.

also, Vince isnt top 10 SG, no way, but he should be top 15-18....but if you list him at SF he is wayyyy down the list.

I agree with all of that, but I still don't think he's above VC, if anything perhaps even. But I'm okay with it being an unpopular opinion. I just feel like if he didn't go to Houston to win that one chip then he wouldn't have been remembered nearly as fondly. :manny:

tbh, at the time it happened, I felt like nikkas today felt when Bron went to join Wade. I felt Clyde was slightly past his prime and trying to get that chip. they all attempted it, Mailman, Glove, etc...I really didnt look at it as a feat of his greatness, just more of icing on the cake to a great career. I remember him as Mike's chief rival. I remember him fondly. He was just living in a kingdom under MJ's rule. Clyde would be viewed as a much greater player than he already is had he not been totally eclipsed by Jordan.

:what:

last year he carried the Rockets to 56 wins and 1st place in their division with injured Dwight. this year 41 wins and 4th place.
last year they got to the conference finals, this year only won 1 postseason game.

last year was runner up for MVP, this year didnt make All NBA.

individual stats dont mean as much when your team isnt contending.

good list, but not sure how you put a guy who only made All NBA twice over a guy who made it 7x.
Who Ray? He's got 2 rings to Vince's 0 and was consistent for just as long. Honestly though after Clyde the order can/does get switched on how I feel that day. shyt it was hard not putting Reggie and McGrady in there.

Yes I can because you're holding championships in favor of Ray like he carried those teams. Ray Allen was the 4th best player on the Celtics during the big 3 era. He was a role player, 7th or 8th man on the Heat. Let's cut the nonsense. Vince Carter would've won a chip playing with the Pierce and KG, and the Heat's big 3 too. Compare them as players, not team success. Nobody was saying Allen was better than Carter when they were in their primes. You guys are trying to rewrite history because Ray Allen had great team success being a role player late in his career.

Why do people dap stupid posts?

Il posting facts, nobody is hating on Ray Allen. Robert Horry hit clutch shots and won games for the lakers too.. Who cares?

Ray Allen hit a lot of clutch shots for the Celtics, ok so what? So did Pierce, so did KG.

Ray hit way more than both em

Kg only had 1 or 2 game winning/dagger shots during his time with Boston

They almost ran never plays for him in the final moments.
