Wale is corny :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol: , man he makes the same content as your Cole's , Kendrick's why yall hate him so much:francis:

If Wale is corny, then so is Cole, Kendrick, Drake, Sean, Cudi, Wiz because they all have the same vibe...that vibe of partly being raised in the suburbs and partly in the inner city. I call all these guys Sons of Ye (Kanye West) because he opened the lane for them. These are kids who were not street nikkas but were familiar with the urban environment.

As far as Wale not doing features with big artists, it's his own ego kind of thing. He intentionally avoids doing features for other big rappers unless it' a MMG song or something or some shyt for Ross.
Well, he said asked the weeknd to collaborate last year and he said no.. that indicates to me that he atleast tries to work with other artists.

Word, when he say that? And by big artist I probably should have clarified that I meant rappers. He's worked with plenty of R&b acts (Miguel, jeremih, usher).

I saw him tweet about it a few months ago.. Someone asked him to do a song with the weeknd and that was his reply.

But you're right, he really doesn't have many features with rappers now that I think about it. I'm surprised he's never had a track with Drake since they seem to be friendly and Drake has worked with MMG repeatedly over the years.

- Darkskin artist with Nigerian roots

- Signed to a label that doesn't appeal to CACs

- Isn't featured on every single song

- Doesn't have a worldwide appeal

:francis:
Not because of that, because he is a loose cannon where it concerns his mouth. People don't want to deal w/ that especially if you aren't pulling in Axl Rose/Oasis numbers. If you want to be a rockstar....you have to bring up the NUMBERS. If you can't do that, you get your check & stay quiet. :francis:

LOL...

Are you talking about the guy who had THE MACHINE make sure he had the hottest pop artist at the time on his lead single (Lady Gaga) ???

So what? That was in 2009 when he was on Interscope Records. Just because an artist was at one point in time backed by the "machine" does not mean they are exempt from being blackballed later on.

Can't stand every one of those Ye children.

nikkas really wonder why I only fukk with Lil B and Rocky. It's not rocket science. They're some of the few acts that don't sound like whiny cax
