Is War Report a classic in your opinion?

Giving this it's first spin tonight. Heard a couple of songs off it before but I decided I wanted to hear the whole thing.

to me it's one of the finest 90's hip hop albums..this made the same impression when I heard illmatic, purple tape, liquid swords etc..I put it up there and not backing down.
Plus it has aged quite well..the chemistry between the 3 of them on that LP has stood the test of time.

Not at all. I liked it, but definitely not a classic. The way people rewrite history nowadays is hilarious, I seen some nig on here say "Tical" is a classic too, smh, dudes is nuts, I guess anything "back in the day" is classic to these children

NO Kanye albums are classics
NO Jay-Z album after RD is classic
NO Nas album after IWW is classic
Its Dark & Hell is Hot is NOT classic
Capital Punishment is NOT classic
Dogg Food is NOT classic
and so on and so on...

I'll argue to death about this b/c The War Report is in my personal top 5 albums. Is it the same level as classic as Illmatic and The Chronic and 36 Chambers? No..but it's up there with The Infamous, OB4CL, Hell on Earth, IWW, etc.
