Professional sports is really just anime for jocks and pretend jocks. Outlandish costumes, multiple chained arcs, seasonal big bads, crazy betrayals and side switches and it always ends in a tournament arc. Wearing a pro sports jersey in the end of the day is just cosplaying as your favorite character.

Cosplay is more than just rocking a costume...it's basically becoming the character down to every detail.

So no.
Not all the time, thats good cosplay. The only equivalent in sports is dressing up like the logo like raiders fans do

Was never a fan of wearing another man’s name on my back…

So I just wear the generic team gear.
:yeshrug:
Same, players (especially in the nfl) don’t play for long or go to another team (Texans :beli:)

So I have my name on the back of my jerseys of my home teams for that reason.
