They fukked up by implementing a certain brand of socialism and tying the economies of every country together via the euro

greece is fukked up too. Arguably those countries would simply lower the value of their money and draw in tourist. But they can't because the same tourist who would of came and flooded their country with cash use the euro just like them.

They had a chance to fix it by tying turkey into the euro cause Turkey is doing well and alongside germany could of helped hold it up. But racism (and old ethnic grudges) got in the way and they let in a few eastern european countries in instead.
