Yea, and it isn't just Bush's. A lot of policies of old made our situation worse. There was literally a no-win situation for ANYONE who made it into office in 2008.
The unfunded war and other political Snafus left by Bush made the top office toxic, and Obama is gonna take the blame for that cause the loud idiots are a greater

Yea. Expectations were high. A man of color has to be the absolute best at what he does to be accepted. A mediocre white man is A-ok in a lot of instances.

You are implying that "white" people are some type of monolithic group. This kind of perspective lacks nuance because there is a substantial difference between white people in the same country. In example America, you have the wealthy southern families whom have an entirely different existence compared to the hellish one of lets say a west Virginia coal miner. Not necessarily. I'd actually say that white/black/hispanic/asian people will stick together when they have a common enemy, which is what happens in places with diversity. When the enemy is different people who share more similarities (such as skin color) will often stick together easily.
In Europe what happens is that because they don't have as much racial diversity – barring some states like France and the UK – they fight amongst themselves more based on ideologies and nationalities rather than racial differences.

There are exceptions to my theory but they are few and far between.

True, I mixed the two concepts up.They will have alot harder of a time having their way when they dont have that smoothering super majority that they did in the past. And also its a tipping point because their numbers (power/influence) are going to keep decreasing from now on. Its only going to get worse from here on.

Obama is one man in a position of seriously questionable powers, and white america as a whole benefits from showing the world that they're a country of equality to itself AND the world. All with just the ascention of one man (who's expensive campaign was mostly payed by white wealthy men who did not do so for free). Heck some may even argue that symbolism – or branding if you want to see it that way – is the main reason Obama is president.

As for the minority of white people (which can be seen as very small when juxtaposed with the majority) protesting, their efforts are much appreciated. However they're still mostly going back into the system as benefactors once the marching is done. Jonathans and Ratchels can go protest for the whole weekend and then go back to work on monday.

That's why the white privilege thing stuck, because white people relating to each other is the reason for their unity.
