is Windows 10 any good then ???

my laptop keeps tempting me with a pop up asking me if i want to try it for free.... for some reason i get the feeling its gonna be full of bugs and glitches and im too lazy to research and read through loads of computer spec crap

Simple terms is it worth upgrading or not ? currently on 8.1

This. I heard that some people were losing some of their personal files even tho they tell u that u can't. Almost happened to me but I found them shyts in another directory

The only ppl that don't like 8/8.1 or 10 are those who don't know how to use the tools that are given to them. 10 is that best OS I've ever used, followed by 8/8.1

Windows 8 was just fine, the problem is that people got mad at how Microsoft got so aggressive with the Modern UI.

In fact, I still argue that being able to type out of nowhere and it will immediately search is better than having to now click on the start menu again to get the same result. Oh well, either way Windows 10 is the best OS out there today and no doubt better than OS X El Capitan.

i liked windows 8 how come you didnt like it ? definately seemed a step forward than the last one i had.. think it was 7 or something

It's worth it just for the updated start menu, but I personally don't trust Windows upgrades. I always clean install.

Oh you mean the search box in the task bar. Yeah I switched that to an icon for real estate.

Either way you still need that to be active to do a search. In Windows 8 modern UI you just started typing and things popped up.

Its cool but I went back to 7 cause a lot of my school shyt isn't compatible yet. I hated every version of 8.

I'm still waiting on Sony to give the OK go upgrade my Vaio laptop to Windows 10.

Microsoft been gave the OK a long time ago though.

I dont like the metro functionality. there's no point in it. windows 7 is fine tho.
