I just got prompted on my computer that I can upgrade to Windows 10 for free. Is it worth it? I'm currently running Windows 7 and have had no issues with it.

I got the same prompt. It just has you sign up to download when it's available in July. It's not out yet

Yes

Being that Windows 8/8.1 is the greatest operating system ever made, I'd say you should have been upgraded anyway. Hoping Windows 10 is as nice as it sounds.
