Veganism is stupid. Just reduce your meat-intake. Lacto-vegetarianism is better.

Not all human populations were meant to subsist on a meat-less diet.

India has a lot of vegans, so I don't think that's an issue. The big reason a lot of people are vegan is the resources it consumes to raise livestock. It's way more than just a crop field that's probably naturally watered most of the time.

All bullshyt. There is enough land and food to accommodate all human life. Any place in this world where people are starving is due to the decisions their government makes. Nobody on this planet is starving because the world couldn't produce enough food to feed them.

I promise the food ppl in America throw out from Christmas this week is enough to feed the hungry at least 1 day

Yeah, but food "waste" is very theoretical. The only way to go bcak to a low-waste culture is to basically grocery shop on demand which isn't possible since women work as well as men nowadays. The biggest reason I "waste" food is not having time to really plan meals. Yeah, I could mass cook and reheat food, but that usually leads to worse meals. And, what are we going to do with our food waste? Put it on a ship to starving Saharan nations?

You thinking at a individually level, I'm talking about worldwide.

Grains shouldn't be a big deal, based on my level of knowledge, but, growing crops naturally at that level will be impossible.

Not to mention the very real climate issues.

Every single thing I wrote is about global, not individual.
