I think some of our ancestors might of been on the same plantationsWonder if any of us on here are cousins lol
Morgantown was cool. I was in school at A&T at the time, and we were there for an engineering conference.Yea there's two HBCUs one is West Virginia State University and the other I believe is Bluefield. Yea a lot of people will argue with me that there are no black people in West Virginia, but that's untrue, I would know I'm from there. How'd you like Morgantown?
I also wanted to add that I learned a new fact that Deron Williams was born in Parkersburg, WV.

I know a little more about WVSU since I lived relatively close to it. Plus I believe they own Shawnee Park.

I forget about the various too booths , probably because we didn't use them much. I'm from Charleston, and honestly there isn't much of a nightlife there. I'd say go in the month of August because of the Sternwheel Regatta and the Multifest. You can also check out the Clay Center, and there are events at the Civic Center, but that would depend on your interests. I know there are events that are held on Magic Island. If you ever get a chance to check out Malden, where Booker T. Washington spent his childhood. Which also happens to be near Rand (Randy Moss's hometown). There's also the Booker T. Washington Park and the African Zion Baptist Church.Morgantown was cool. I was in school at A&T at the time, and we were there for an engineering conference.
The nightlife was cool, and with WVU being there, there was always something to get into. Y’all have got a ton of toll booth highways up there. I know I ran into one before going into a tunnel right before entering Beckley, and there were a few more after that. I want to go back to WV, as I want to explore Charleston next, and I wouldn’t mind renting out a cabin in the mountains with some of my people.
Ive lived in NC and Tennessee.
I would never call Texas the south. Texas has.more in common with stated like Oklahoma than Georgia or Tennessee
