Is your LinkedIn profile pic a professional headshot, or a snapshot?

it's a 7 yr old random cropped picture of me at a wedding cause it's the only one i had with a suit on
I use to put vacation pictures or not even have a picture on there until i found out companies were looking specifically for black people sometimes
all yall brehs in here saying you have professional head shots has me wondering if it's worth looking into

I would saybits important but that depends on certain factors. If you're trying to work for a hedge fund(not per se but a business thats "serious") then it should be professional.

I have a cartoon image of myself and I work for a government agency as a Site Reliability Engineer while everyone else has a professional photo
