Isaiah Hartenstein just got $30 million a year from the Thunder. Timofey Mozgov Vibes.

If JWill or Chet don't evolve into reliable second options, I can see them bowing out before the finals again
I do like their roster construction though and I feel like you always need to go all in every year you have a top 5-10 player (which they do)
The Mavs exposed that no one outside of SGA can actually create their own offense at an elite level

This guy has averaged 9/8.5/3 as a starter in his career. It’s comical. Drummond should fire his agent.

Drummond started playing for “NBA Journeyman” type of money at 27 despite being a double double machine with both the Lakers and the Nets. Hatenstein is turning 27😂🤣

For vets who aren’t core pieces, it seems like GMs factor in player’s career earnings. “Andre Drummond has made over $100M already, he will be fine with $5M”.

Knicks just got a lot weaker. Better hope Mitch holds up.

:francis:

How so ? Mitch is fine can do the same stuff minus the passing and is much more athletic....Knicks are gonna finish most games not playing a true 5 anyways with Randle back....

That's why all these old heads are so salty, they see guys they know they were better than cashing the fukk OUT
Basically. That's been the deal for a hot minute too. People were irate when Conley received that 150m/5yr max back in 2016. I'm sure back in the day stars felt a type of way seeing a non-all star get 30Ms a year.

Eight years later, that's now overpay for a role player type money lol...

By the end of this decade, vet max players like Luka will be making more in 1 season than Charles Barkley made his entire 16 years in the NBA.

Hopefully Chet and their coaching staff paid attention to what Porzingis did in the Finals. That pick n post-up was there for Chet all series, but OKC just waived him off or swung the ball the other side every time.

He should also watch Anthony Davis; AD is more passive than Jokic and Embiid and more dependent on teammates getting him the ball in the right places but when the Lakers do commit to that, he's virtually unstoppable around the rim.

Used what we saved on Joe and wiggins for him

He was

- Top 15 in overall EPM last season

- Top 35 in overall BPM

Would have liked around 25mm but makes sense slight overpay to snatch him from knicks
EPM and BPM? :wtf:

Stars were probably making $400,000 back in the 80s :mjcry:

On his pod JJ Reddikk said they keep about 40% of their salaries after taxes, escrow, agents, etc.
