He had an old beat up hoopty car..I think a Honda that he named Cilvia.

But yes he has said why in a few interviews.

Near flawless album. Rest of his career has largely been so disappointing, outside of a handful of tracks. Last album was better than the second but still mixed. The rugged clarity of Cilvia that made him so interesting was replaced by slurred vocals and a lack of focus. Drugs and label fukkery play a role so I'm always gonna hold out some hope that he figures shyt out. Each project since Cilvia has had a couple top tier tracks.
