The A&R then thought hed be a good fit for TDE so then the announcement came later. Still hasnt signed the deal with interscope / a major yet though.

yup. I dunno if i should be putting this out there but he had an offer from a large label, Def Jam, Warner, Universal...that kinda shyt. The A&R had left that label and warned him against it citing some other rappers whose careers they hindered.

Really digging this tape. I wish the original shot u down was on it though, that's still my favorite Rashad song. Really happy this guy is with TDE, I think they will keep him in this "laid back rap" lane and see where it takes him.

Yea I cant remember. I think it was either Atlantic (saigon/lupe), Universal ir WMG
Imagine Krit on TDE . Overall I think its a good stylistic match TDE and Rashad

Hmmmm.....I wish there was a dictionary definition of what an industry plant is. Before that cypher he signed to TDE I think like a month or two before. Ok so if you release music and a label person hears it and signs you, that makes you a plant? Every rapper gets on by first putting his continent on his back then signing the label? Is that the only acceptable way?
