Bro got a nicer discography than at least half of Black Hippy if we're being honest. Looking forward to this.
I agree. I would place him #3 behind Kendrick and Schoolboy as far as TDE rappers go when it comes to discographies.

The House Is Burning was a good album and so was Civia's Demo but The Sun's Tirade remains his #1 imo. I've done played that album to death.

I still believe that Rashad is capable of creating his best album. Hopefully this one is it.

I always felt this guy hadn't lived up to his (huge) potential since Cilvia Demo, but judging from what folks are saying in here maybe I need to give his last couple albums another spin :ohhh:

In any case, hope this new one is undeniable

Sun's tirade is 4.5 mics to me. Some of his best work. The house is burning is great too. Zay's music is a slow burn. Can't just listen once. It keeps growing on you. That being said he still hasn't reached his full potential even with his great catalog. While sun's tirade was dope he was in the middle of a heavy drug addiction so lyrically he wasn't his best.

The house is burning was a cleaner sound and a step in the right direction. The "homies begged" deluxe version is 4.5 mics to me too. But even this album he was still dealing with serious issues and it took him forever to finish. You can tell by his interviews that by the time the album released he was already over it.

He says this new album is his best work and I believe him. He seems to be fully sober now and at peace. I think this is going to be his "pimp a butterfly" moment. At the very least there's no way it's not gonna be fire. Zay is automatic. There's a reason he's considered a legend by his peers. They all know he's a genius too.

They're solid but not touching Cilvia IMO. That's a modern day classic to me.
