It probably depends what Boston does with Marcus smart

But I could see i.t. going back to Boston for the mid level , they need his scoring off the bench

Dude had a magical season beyond anything anybody ever expected of him.

He can’t let the fact that it’s over go. He’s now back to journeyman status.

I understand him being salty with how it all turned out. But he should prolly just focus on the here and now, like playing his best so he can get a decent contract after this season.

So he's doing a Q & A and answering the questions honestly :ohhh:

And y'all got a problem with it :stopitslime:

This is one thing I hate about the coli. nikkas will spin the fukk out of nothing. Thread title is if dude just went on an unprompted twitter rant spilling hhis heart out. Then you actually read the post and someone asked him a basic ass obvious ass question. Of course he was going to say yes. The nikka has a MVP caliber season and had all types of fan love and support on a ECF team.

This shyt is sad. :mjcry:

I hope someone in his circle is able to keep him focused on the future.:ufdup:

There's a good chance he could sign a nice 15-20mm 1-year deal with LA along the lines of what KCP got this year. :obama:

It looks more and more like LA is going to wait until 2019 to pull the trigger on some max FAs. With the young team on rookie contracts they have right now, there's more than enough cap space for IT to get a nice check playing 6th man. :smugdraper::smugdraper:

It would also be a great opportunity to help him rehabilitate his reputation. If LA is able to make the 8th seed next year, he might get himself a nice 3-year 50mm deal somewhere in NBA Siberia to close out his career. :leon::leon:
The timing would be perfect, as all those awful contracts that got signed when the salary cap jumped will be coming off of teams' books. :blessed::blessed:

But the nikka has to keep his mouth shut if these things are going to happen for him. :francis:He was realistically looking at earning 100mm for the rest of his career when in Boston - if he plays his cards right, he can still recover 70mm of that.

70mm is still generational wealth. :wow::wow::wow:

No he was looking to get a 200 million max from Boston. He will never earn the money he lost. It's not all his fault

What's great about it?
It's a great sports town through and through, so you're receiving love like crazy all over the city. But it's not as big as many other sports towns like say a NYC or a Philly so the media wrath isn't as bad (that's not to say Boston media can't be a$$holes and even lower brow, just that the spotlight ain't as bright so it's easier to bear).

This is hilarious and sad at the same time

Breh Boston don't want you and had no interest in paying you. There is not even a market for someone like you.

You should be glad you're even playing at this level of the game considering you are an undersized PG who requires the offense go through YOU.

Come on man...

Yeah, that was never going to happen.

But 100-110 (120?) for 4 years was definitely a possibility. Not for Boston, but for a team that desperately needed the draw.
