My mother was a dream killer when I was a kid. She had no idea how much it hurt to have her shyt on my dreams or praise other people in front of me, but act like I wasn’t shyt sometimes. This clip kinda triggered me.

I’m fine breh. Trust me. Life worked out for me, despite trying it my mom’s way at first and realizing that wasn’t my way. I wasn’t looking for sympathy in my original post, I can just relate to how his mom was acting so proud even though she treated him like shyt along the way.

Bud Crawford's mom was also on demon time. I think the idea that people are obligated to forgive/support their parents no matter what needs to die. If Bud and Speed can find it in themselves to forgive their mothers/parents, great, shouldn't be the expectation and they shouldn't be looked down on if they choose otherwise.

There's one thing of killing dreams and another to be realistic and steer the child into a path of security. Instead of going ultra hard, she could have just gave game on that streaming shyt being a temporary success and what do you have lined up when the shyt is over?

His mama out there struggling to pay bills like many do and this nikka at home setting the house of fire because some cac kids telling him to do it for the stream. That isn’t a dream killer in my opinion. That’s a kid being a fukking menace. And it wasn’t by design either, his success.
So I fully understand an exhausted mom not being able to deal with the constant, dangerous ass bullshyt he would do at her expense for the chat.
And truth be told, that’s probably why he breaking bread with her after she put him out. Because he knows that she allowed him to do the wildest shyt until she just couldn’t anymore. And as much as he want to cut her off for kicking him out, he knows he was wrong as fukk and she put up with a lot. And without that grace she did allow him, he would not be where he is now. So he reluctantly acquiesces because immaturity would be not seeing it from her side. Maturity is knowing that she put up with a lot until she reached her breaking point but he had already gotten what was going to be needed for some success.
That’s what that face is he had. It’s the acceptance of his burden.
