Chris Paul turned to Cliff Paul with a 2-game lead in the finals and Zeke torched the Lakers on one leg on an epic 4th quarter and was a phantom foul away from beating the Showtime Lakers

They are not the same :mjlol:

This is an all-time atrocious thread.

It's like saying Wilder has a better KO percentage than Ali or Foreman so he's obviously better :mjlol:
Chris Paul is literally better at every aspect of basketball and it’s not close :russ:

This is clearly somebody grasping at straws and wanting to make a shock value thread, because nobody with any sensible opinion about sports thinks that this is a credible argument being made.

His accomplishments speak for themselves.

Joe Dumars is a HOF no doubt. But without Isiah dude never makes it past the 2nd round in that LOADED ass Eastern Conference.

Ask Dominique what it's like without help.

fukk out of here with this bullhshyt. Pistons were the most hated team in the league, by the public and media. (Getting back that way too).

And Steph isnt a PG/or best at anything except accumulating 3pt stats.
Steph shyts on Isiah at everything. Steph was actually an mvp level player unlike Zeke. It’s disrespectful to put them in the same sentence.

And lol at thinking the warriors weren’t hated by the media

You literally have no arguments that’s why you’re bitter :russ:

Isiah finished top 5 once. That’s a fact you can’t argue against it.

Im old enough to remember Zeke being a scorer and changing his game to the benefit of the Pistons.

I guess all those commercials and attention he got wasnt meant for him. :childplease:

He wasnt getting first place votes from angry cac journalists for his Bird comments.
There is no real significant difference in shot attempts from the all nba years to the title years.

Yall acting like he was averaging 20 shots a game then scaled it back to 10

For example in 1986 his last first team all nba season he averaged 16 shots a game and in 1990 the pistons title season he averaged the same.

The bad boy pistons were a complimentary situation where Isiah just took the most shots.

Why do you keep basing his greatness off of what reporters' opinions of his greatness was

Are you old enough to have watched him play?

Yes or no.

And since when were points the end all be all of somebody's impact on the game?!?!!!

Isiah finishing 17th in MVP voting when the Pistons won 63 games is definitely some bullshyt. Mark Eaton received more votes than him. Both Isiah and Dumars received one point and tied for 17th with Larry Nance.
When the team is a complementary situation(like the 00’s pistons funny enough) with no one being the driving force or carrying it makes sense.

They won off the back of defense and rebounding and Isiah wasn’t carrying shyt

You do realize that Isiah got there before Laimbeer and before Joe Dumars and before John Salley and all the other complimentary pieces

They were cellar dwellers before that man walked in the door.

The team then did with most great teams would do they built around a superstar player to get complimentary pieces.

As a result of other great players teaming with him he had to take less shots and shoot less.

This is honestly one of the stupidest things I've ever seen in my entire life.

😂 At Isiah being Robert Horry/Horace Grant status.

I don't care if Jalen Hurts wins five Super bowls I'm never putting him over Warren Moon.

That's how stupid rankings can be.

You're only justification for slamming him is because some reporters who clearly had a vendetta against the man didn't rank him higher or put him in top MVP voting.

You can't even go based off of his play :mjlol:

Stats mean FUKK all that man was an all-time great and only behind Magic at PG.

😂 At him behind Chris Fukkin Paul

Ain't no average NBA player beating Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan in the same year in the same playoff season 😂

They were a defensive first team and Zeke wasn’t one of the top 4 defensive players on the team. He wasn’t even the best defensive player in his backcourt. They didn’t win shyt in the playoffs until the defense surpassed the offense and carried.

They won on defense and rebounding First and you are attempting to give him credit like he was carrying that team and somehow better than other PGs because they never had that luxury.

Joe Dumars outplayed him in half their series during the good years.

It’s like Chauncey Billups on the 00’s pistons. He took the most shots but they were winning on the back of defense, not Isiah’s offense.

Chris Paul's talent is comparable on the Clippers to any team that has played in the last 20 years

They were loaded and he did FUKKIN NADA and lost to Josh Smith hitting 3's and blowing a 3-1 lead. Don't get all revisionist history.

Magic Johnson never won defensive player of the year and wasn't the best defensive player on his team that was Michael Cooper.

Larry Bird wasn't the best defensive player on his team that was Dennis Johnson.

WTF point are you trying to make?!?

They are several teams in the last 20 years more talented than the Clippers. They weren’t even the most talented team in the west lol. Zeke isn’t dojng shyt with those clippers teams anyway so what’s the point?

What aspect of basketball is he better than CP3 at? Scoring? Handles? Passing? Defense? Running an offense? Nada. He’s better because the pistons defense and rebounding beat the 89 lakers with no Magic?

Magic and Birds offenses were the driving forces of their teams and they were offensive first teams. They were the anchors. Not the case for Isiah, those Pistons teams were defensive first and he wasn’t even the best defender on the team.
