Imagine tall ass Magic Johnson in this era where guards are getting rebounds unchallenged and passing lanes are more open than ever.

Showtime Lakers in 2016

:whew:
Magic era ended the fast break. Teams stopped leaking out during shots and pretty much ended the misses shot fastbreak the lakers lived off of. I remember a late 80s article called the end of the fastbreak which talked about this. that's how long it took for
Defenses to evolve back then :heh:

nikkas really wanna watch trash big men of today post up... :scust:

I had to deal with that shyt with D12 for three years. It's WOAT basketball.

The fact that the media continued the "you need to feed your big man" narrative during those years was embarrassing. When Dwight wasn't lucky enough to actually finish at the rim, his possessions were turnover, turnover, missed layup after a failed Dream Shake, getting fouled, clanking FTs, or committing an offensive foul, which would lead to a ticky tack technical due to him disputing it

Imagine Harden in the 80's with that flabby defense and pace.:wow:
Lol Harden playing at 100+ possessions per game with the 80's trash transition defense.

Dantley and Jordan were getting to the line 12 times a game, Harden would be up there too.

How many times a game are we guessing he would stand flat footed at half court and just lazily swipe at the ball :bryan:?

What the hell does any of that have to do with basketball though? Those guys still got up and kept playing the game.

Act like the skinny little ballets of the 1980s could play through Bad Boy shyt, but a 270lb former All-State football player like Lebron with bionic injury-immune limbs would suddenly get weak in the knees.

The problem with this statement is thinking that lebron could play through it with no problem...where he is now playing the softest era of basketball ever...so regardless of his size...i don't see how you can be absolutely confident that a guy who now plays in a league where if you touch him it's a foul can go play in a league where rodman can come across his head AND THEN dump his ass in the front row...

look at what Lebron did when Nazr shoved him...a bunch of nothing...your "270lb former all state football player" just got shoved to the ground by a dude and he would not even move until there were players, coaches, and refs between him and Nazr...Ray Allen standing over him like he about to take a bullet from the upper deck from Bron :mjlol:

Now...you telling me this same dude is somehow going to play through getting yoked by Rodman, getting hip checked out of bounds by Mahorn, getting flatout punched and clotheslined by Lambeer...:mjlol:...nikka was to scared to even get back to his feet over a push...

You ask "what does that have to do with basketball". Nothing:mjlol:, that's the point:mjlol: back then these teams could do stuff that had nothing to do with basketball to you...and as the clips i posted clearly shows...sometime your only recourse for action to get them off of you was to square up and fight...

You seem to think just cause dudes smaller than bron played through it, that bron played through it...where really it's the mental aspect that is the hardest to overcome...

It's like Zeke said...it's easy to rampage down the lane now when you know if anybody touches you it's a foul...you know if anybody touches you hard it's a flagrant and they might get thrown out and then for the rest of the game both teams shooting a 100 million freethrows...versus before...where a goon like Lambeer might just flat out punch you in the face...he might just flat out clothesline you...and if you bold enough to square up with him zeke just might come behind you and jump on your back like he did that one dude...

And you going to say "that shyt didn't happen every game they not going to fight every game they not going to clothesline somebody every game"...and you right...they not...they only got to do it once...to let you know that they WILL do it...

Breh imagine Dominque playing in this era :damn:

Imagine Nique been able to give you a hesi out of a triple threat from the 3 point line... and just take off into the lane and you just got to let him go cause if you touch him it's a foul...your big man can't really contest his shot otherwise he going to be on the bench in 23 seconds with 2 fouls...

Nique would be a 20 ppg scorer on nothing but dunks:russ:... i feel like he would dunk the ball damn near every time...

I feel like 40 games into the season he would have 800 shot attempts and 650 of them would be dunks:russ:

Dog, LeBron is not scared of Nazr Mohammed it's all theatrics :heh:

So he not scared of Nazr...he just pretends to be?

So then I expect him to not be scared of Rodman...just pretend to be? To not be scared of Lambeer, but just pretend to be? Not be scared of Mahorn, just pretend to be?

If your premise is Lebron is not scared of this dude who pushed him he is just acting...that is a problem cause there are a lot more dudes who would be willing to push him back then than their are right now :mjlol:

He going to win an Osacr back then cause he going to be pulling a lot of theatrics:mjlol:
