Zeke been saying that for years and it is true the on the ball defense is horrible. I would compare it to DB defense against WRs in the NFL.
When you can't touch an offensive player and can't intimidate them they are free to do whatever they want to do on the offensive end.
Let's also not forget that big men aren't able to touch them either when trying to block shots.

You can't expect to see consistent on-the-ball PG defense when picks are being set every possession. Plus it sounds like Zeke has been watching far too many Lakers games.
Or Ricky Brickio (aka rubio).
Yes that is true with the picks....during the 2005 and 2006 seasons you could tell that the NBA began letting the moving pick become more and more legal. It was a big part of that suns offense.
Moving picks like we see now where rare and you saw it more in the European game. But now it is so common in the NBA. shyt looks like offensive guards blocking on a screen pass in college football.

Most of these current PG's can't play defense/aren't two way players. John Wall is legit but pickings are slim
On a sidenote Zeke is right once again
Cause the star point guards are either freakish athletes or have an insane handle to go with their quickness. Defending these new age point guards is a team effort, not a one on one thing.
There are so many good to great PG's in the NBA right now. It's a renaissance at the position.

Pretty damn hard to stay on the ball when you cant touch the guy and there are screens all over the place.

This is probably the strongest overall the position has ever been but you've had freakish athletes and cats with insane handles/quickness before who weren't able to be THIS free out there because the rules are so lax now.
