Good job ducking the congratulatory gentleman's handshake. Too bad there was no way to duck that 91' fade with his name on it :mjgrin:.

I think people need to realize just how good MJ was. 10x scoring champ (even had the most points for the season his rookie year lol), dpoy/MVP/scoring champ all in same year, 3x steals leader, back to back 100+ block seasons, etc. he was essentially the perfect basketball player.

only player to never score less than 15 in a playoff game ever, never scored less than 20 in a finals game.

MJ=GOAT.

I'll be 40 this year. I saw Capt play for years. Also Zeke is never salty about Jordan. He owned him mentally and physically. From 87-90, his Pistons were the best team in basketball

This basically.... it baffles me that "fans" forget that Zeke and them used to send Mike home in tears....... but hey, they wouldn't be fans if they kept it a buck

Finally someone who gives Kareem some goddamn motherfukkin respect.

Players like Bill Russell, George Mikan, and Kareem Abdul Jabbar will never get the respect they deserve because they played before the 1990s. aka before MJ, Kobe, LeBron, etc

I mean, who here remembers the 1950s/1960s NBA and the 1970s/early 1980s NBA?

Kareem was drafted to an expansion franchise and in his first season led them to the conference final and a title in his 2nd. That's fukking absurd.

To use a current example imagine an nba team being founded during the 2016-2017 season. Lonzo Ball being drafted number one to that team and leading them to the WCF in his rookie year. Then in his sophomore year leading them to 66 wins and the title.

Basketball pre-99 was borderline amateurish. Basketball became a legitimate professional sport around 99 and Lakers 2000-2002 took the sports to new height. The average NBA players in 2017 compared 97/98 players is on average taller, stronger, better coached, faster, more athletic, access to advanced stats, access to latest sports nutrition and in-depth multi factual game analysis. Dominating Basketball is MUCH tougher task now than in 1997. Players in 2017 were BRED to be NBA players and the competition is fiercer, once you also include international competition.

Lebron is dominating or has dominated a higher standard of basketball Jordan could EVER image. A simple eye test will tell you this. Stats are meaningless. NBA in 2017 is a complete different nature of beast to the water downed version in 1997.

How do people NOT see this?

JR Smith with his talents would probably lead NBA franchise to a championship in the 90s, that’s how much the difference in talent is. Jordan in 2017 is Jimmy Butler level. The sport has moved on, so stats alone don’t tell the sport

Lebron is the greatest basketballer that ever LIVED

I randomly went to Kareem's Wikipedia one day and I was :dwillhuh: at his accomplishments

This dude must have the most legendary trophy case. He won championships from HS all the way to 6 in the league and then won 2 as a coach :dwillhuh:
Only lost 2 games from high school thru college :wow:
