who forgot about isiah thomas tho

He is highly slept on as a player. People talk about the great players and skip him a lot in convo. Dude was pit bull and didn't back down from nobody. Quickness and handles was on some next level shyt back in those days. His jumper was nice, very good defender on PGs. No weakness in his game.

exactly dude name never comes up...yet he beat all of the Top 3. :birdman:

I'd say this documentary introduced a lot of kids to Isiah. I don't like the fact that there's a player in the NBA with the exact same name playing the same position (eventhough he was probably named after the player). It probably confuses those who don't know any better.

Anybody who watched him play could NEVER forget the man. Im a Knick fan and I hate him as a GM but that doesn't have shyt to do with what he was doing on the court. IMO as far as PG's rank, I have him only behind Magic.

new nikkas think this...Isiah was best little man to play the game

exactly, Isiah was 'AI' before there was an AI, Starberry, S. Francis, Rose etc this is what they all want to be like...

except he's actually won being the leader of his team :smugfavre:

New Orleans/VA/Nashville
The last minute is pretty much what prevented Isiah from The OG Dream Team. DET/CHI might be one of the most slept on rivalries in NBA history too
I don't agree with this

Interesting to think that during that era people questioned whether MJ had what it took to get over the hump.

I agree with that

NBA History has been Jordan washed

Chris Paul has a lot of Isiah Thomas characteristics and similar game. I would also compare Allen Iverson but AI was on another level talent wise.

i dont think isiah will be forgotten by our generation more likely our kids will have no idea what he did while mike, bird, and magic will still be house hold names

this is why he's a 'forgotten superstar' of that era. His name is suppose to ring out like their do.

Man Isiah whole different breed because he could actually shoot
he was complete player, offense and defense, there's no PG in the game like him

41st was the worsest turf on the earth...
Thats my point Gawd. :to:

First player I got into. Remember when I was little watchin the 88 finals wit my fam and everybody but my aunt was rootin for the Lakers. My aunt was the most prolific hooper in the fam at the time so I rolled wit her. Then Zeke dropped that 25 in the 3rd and he was my dude for life. I cried a couple days later when they lost. A year or so later when I got into the game on my own I chose the Bulls but Zeke will never not be the startin point on my all-time team. :myman:
