I meant as in not allowed in the Quran/ Hadith. So in a perfect Islamic society nobody would be raping/ stealing/ drinking etc..
You're right, people will do what they want regardless. But ISIS is really fukked up in trying to justify its actions with some sort of religious compass.

I really can't get my head around Westerns who want to return to a life they never lived or can't possible begin to understand. It's not even like she was in some awful situation in the Balkans, her family lived in Vienna one of the grandest cities in Europe.

That seems like a rational explanation. I've always accepted or believed Islam as a religion, being a Muslim, the ethnic and cultural aspect, and nationalities that it generally entails were enough of an identity(wrongly so evidently perhaps).
