Yeah. If the banana boat crew doesn't have some secret plan, I see him resigning with Houston.

I’d legit quit watching him if Bron CHOSE trash ass spoiled milk Flab Melo, IDK how not to be cursed Chris Paul and losing in 5 to an Australian nikka who can’t shoot is better than helping my boy win a ring D Wade

None of these 3 are in the very least dependable

I'm surprised this hasn't become a bigger story. Plus they've stated before that they would all like to play together before retiring.

Melo would be leaving a lot of money on the table if he opted out because there's no way anyone is going to pay him $28 million. Wade might have to sign for a low contract since he's pretty much flabby now. LeBron & CP3 can still command top tier money though. The teams with ~$60 million or less tied up next year as of right now are the Lakers, Sixers, Mavs, Bulls and Kings.

That's a major reason why I can't see Brawn joining Houston.

as president of the NBPA CP3 taking any sort of pay cut looks bad, since he can still command top tier money. him and Brawn both getting the max in Houston means Capela is gone with little relief to do much of anything else (unless they move the Anderson contract, which is practically impossible).
