Isn't it obvious that MMLP2 is one last cash grab for Em?

Eminem has several more cash grabs in him, trust

My thoughts exactly. Em is HUGE and more importantly WHITE. His fanbase will ride with him for many years to come and he will also have opportunities for endorsements for many years to come as well. Plus it's not like the guy is a big spender. He does need to develop some artists for his label soon though.

Eminem has shown from the start that as well as being technically skilled and getting his own message across, he's willing to play the game and do business. As generic and repetitive as these skylar/rihanna tracks are, you can't deny that they are commercially successful.

He's kinda past the point of making a My Name Is/Real Slim Shady... and chances are if he tried it would be even more corny than a lot of his shyt is anyway. The generic female singer joints will get spins and sell albums, so you can see why they do them.... even though I'm not tryina hear one of those shyts ever again.

Whether you think his music is wack or not (and I personally think it's kinda played out) you can't deny that he is talented - and I think the album has more to do with him wanting to prove a point and get the respect he obviously craves from the hip hop world (hence releasing Rap God) than it does about him wanting to get paid.

Obviously the machine and Iovine will be pressing him to make the album, but if he ain't wanna play ball, he could fukk they shyt up... he clearly wants to remain relevant and make a statement.

He's also said he feels a lot of people at the label rely on him to make money, so making money with an album is obviously the point. cant blame him, but as a fan its kind of :ld:

Em had no choice, either crank out albums or become a blood sacrifice so that Iovine can cake off him posthumously

More like a cash grab for Iovine...I wonder what his contract is looking like and how many albums/resign ect...dude understands that he basically keeps that label afloat, he's getting old quickly lol, and they will never be able to replace or recreate another eminem phenomon, he's been very conscious of that since encore.

Even if he wanted to lets say put out an album without concern for charts or sales...Jimmy ain't green lighting an all alchemist produced LP with no real "single", that should would have to leak on some sly shyt to ever see the light of day as a whole, I really wish em would just drop a mixtape every now and then but there's the whole "no free music" mantra.
