5 on 5 doesn't necessarily translate to 1v1 (or vice versa), no more so than being a top scorer in 5 on 5 means you could beat a worse player at your position in knockout or horse. So Iso Joe vs Beas would probably be a toss up but since Joe was the more successful professional and is seen in higher regard than Beas, i guess he's not gonna put that reputation on the line unless the money is right.

I don't know why y'all focusing on the actual amount and not looking at it in relation to what Beas and Lance put up. In theory, if they both played for 20k, Joe would then be playing for 5x the amount and I don't think he'd have the same reservations about coming to the table then.

It's all about the principle of what he's worth. He don't wanna be playing for the same chips as the "undercard".
