theres a lot of outcry right now. probably more than at any point since 1948

but really...who is going to hold Israel and the United States accountable? Israel is the only nuclear state in the region and the U.S. is the global superpower. Theres not really anything the rest of the world can do to change the situation without one of those countries getting on board.

And colonization happens all the time without outcry. One example is most people in the world have no idea about Western Sahara because it isn’t widely reported. In the US the pro-Israeli narratives (like Holocaust, strong U.S. ally, right to self defense) have been given much more attention than the Palestinian narrative of colonization and displacement. And Im sure a lot of Americans dont think colonization is a problem in the first place. So its not surprising theres not as much outcry in this country.

It would take a combination of Russia and China coming together. And honestly, I think they are the only reason the U.S. has never seriously tried to invade Iran.

Turkey can also kick the u.s. out if they wanted to.

But if you think about it Israel is fighting to survive in an Arab Muslim dominated region..... its not just against Palestinians. I don’t think Palestine is the big issue for Jews. It’s more so what they represent COULD happen.

If Israel wasn’t recognized as a state and didn’t have nukes and a big army with money for guns and technology and support from USA they could easily be destroyed/conquered and wiped off the map by Arab Muslim leaders/terrorist groups who wanted to do it

that’s why Israel is always on defense

Land is the specific the conflict between them and Palestinians (cause people Palestinians alone isn’t a threat) and thus is due to wars they lost and bad deals with British

so now are we to blame Israel in 2021 for having more power to defend themseves and the ability to keep the land they won through wars?

It’s not like they’re deliberately picking on Palestinians because they are Arabs or Muslim. i assume they have morals too

but at this point Palestine can’t win.

Palestinians shouldve been had a leader who can find some way to negotiate a fair deal instead of spending decades fighting a war they can’t win.

But if you think about it Israel is fighting to survive in an Arab Muslim dominated region..... its not just against Palestinians. I don’t think Palestine is the big issue for Jews. It’s more so what they represent COULD happen.

They are really not worried about Israel anymore and I dont think Israel is worried about them either when Iran is the only real threat to them in the region. Most of the Sunni Arab states have much more of a problem with Iran and will cooperate with Israel on this. The Arab states have never had the power to wipe Israel off the map and they don't even have the will to do so anymore.

I also don't think Israel needs U.S. aid as much as people like to say. Of course they will take it but they have a strong defense industry and could keep their military at an extremely high level even without the U.S. aid. Their state wouldn't suddenly become vulnerable without the American aid

i actually completely agree with this point. the aid is more for domestic political reasons because politicians can show it off to Zionist (both Christian and Jewish) constituents.

also usually the aid is conditioned that it be spent on American arms so its basically a subsidy to the US defense industry

I feel like because of the Holocaust and history of war and conflict in the region Jews will never not be on the defense

They want defense against everyone who hates them. Anti semitism still exists
