i actually sat thru a 4.5 hour documentary that explained in detail with sources how it was fabricated/exaggerated. very convincing i must say, but they've built up such a sensitivity surrounding it that even the mere suggestion has everyone up in arms.

I'm careful about saying things like "the holocast is fake" because it leaves a window open for people to undermine american slavery.
With that said I've yet to meet a Jew in person that denounces israels actions

I don't think history is how white people have presented it, but I'm pretty sure no government has the resources to fabricate an event of that scale.

That said, to be 100% blunt, I think people who weren't present at the Holocaust and are more than 1 generation removed from the horror, need to get the fukk over it. Japan committed fukkloads of war crimes in Asia that were literally just as bad or even worse than the shyt the Nazis did to the Jews (look up Unit 731: Unit 731 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), and 70 years after they dropped the bomb, most people no longer give a fukk. My great-grandfather was killed by the Japanese, but even though the older people in my family don't necessarily trust them, we're like whatever. We had Japanese products in the house growing up. Go to any Asian country, talk to Asian Americans, you'll find lots of young people that love anime and manga and all that shyt.

I'm not trying to be insensitive, but if people weren't there and their parents / grandparents were not personally traumatized by that shyt, they need to get the fukk over it, and stop using it as an excuse to play the victim 24/7, or justify doing horrible shyt like the actions mentioned in the OP.

You cant just get over your folks being subjected to one of the greatest crimes against humanity. I still don't know why Japan's atrocities committed on the Chinese are swept under the rug. I don't even think they were tried for those war crimes either.

I think the shyt is horrible and fukked up, and I absolutely think the 'doctors' and soldiers who took part in it should have been tried for war crimes, tortured to the degree of pain the inflicted upon others, and executed (which never happened, because the US gave them full immunity in exchange for the information to fund even more weapons research. Whoever made that decision should have been thrown in jail too).

That said, I don't have beef with Japan as a country because it is literally a completely different society than it was historically. WWII left it completely ruined and its society has been effectively reborn, as far as I've heard they barely even have a military now. It's not like American slavery where the prejudice, hate, and effects of it have lingered on to this day, and the perpetrators stayed in power. Japan was literally destroyed.

I'm aware that there's still racism in Japan itself, but until I have direct experience with it, I won't speak on that; all of the Japanese Americans I've met have been cool.

You have younger Israelis wishing death upon their own people, including literal Holocaust survivors, because they don't support what's being done to Palestine.
