Then you should actually READ the text without bias/presuppositions and within the historical context. In the meantime.........

:laff::laff::laff:

Just make sure you enjoy what's coming your way later. After you Googled that Satlow cover without reading the book, you made me research it and things beyond it. And it isn't pretty for your case. At all.

I actually read the book and it did not state that rape was condoned ANYWHERE.

The music videos won't serve to protect you from the work of scholars, one of which you erroneously cited here because you liked the book cover. I've gone through this entire thread to compile your claims and accusations, and I will let my findings systematically disassemble them.

Might as well start thinking of excuses, music videos and smiley to deflect right now.

That wasn't erroneous, since there's a sentence that clearly states 'The raped woman cannot be compared to one who has had sex WILLINGLY.'

Erroneously cited the man again. Quoted that text out of context and ignores the authors repeated mention of rape being sanctioned. Not to mention that you accused me of using bad translations and reading the text with bias when the author you quoted inferred rape from the text just as well. Was his translation wrong too? Must have been his bias interpretation of the text. Why cite him?

Trust me though, Satlow is just the tip of the iceberg.
