Here's my question. If Hamas said (and did) it would stop the rockets and suicide bombing and recognize Israel, would all this be over tomorrow? I think yes.

If Israel said (and did) stop bombings and stopped building settlements would this be over tomorrow? I think no.

That's generally why I support Israel and not the Palestinians.

If Hamas stopped the rockets would Israel stop settlement expansion and finally come to a resolution? The whole reason why the Palestinian side didn't agree to this last ceasefire is because they're sick of living in an open air prison. I dunno about you, but I'd think launching rockets at your colonizer is a pretty natural and understandable response. The common denominator in all this is Israelis psychotic need for security which manifests itself into this brutal set of practices currently underway in the Palestinian territories.
