Fathers not being in their kids lives........everything else is not even close.
Rewind the clock 60 years when fathers were in their kids homes and a lot of the problems we got now were present back then.
Fathers not being in their kids lives........everything else is not even close.
who turned the black panthers into the bloods and crips, who funnels drugs and guns to gangs, who pushes gansta rap in record companies, who denies jobs to black males making education an unappealing goal, who incentivized single motherhood with welfare??Yeah cuz focusing on gang violence, deteriorating households, lack of educational and career opportunities, etc are me making excuses. You guys seriously look stupid. All you did was "hurrr durr racism durr hurr". That's simpleton shyt nikka.
Nope. African Americans are very loaded collectively.
Because we are not united collectively. Then why are AA's at the societal economic bottom?
care to elaborate?
. No disrespect to females, But they can't raise a man by themselves. There view on the world is totally different and I'm reminded of that when dealing with my sons mother and how to raise him.
and that same attiude is the reason our females are the leaders of the community.

I'm going to say no. A minority of us obsess over clothes/cars/jewelries sound more correct
We need complete separation from whites. Thats the first step.

Everything starts @ home. Growing up in Baltimore, I can count on 1 hand how many dudes fathers were around. It was always the "Mother" or "Grandma" taking care of them. Alot of yall pass over this issue on here and i assume its because nobody knows how to tackle the issue, so its easier to say "Practice Group Economics". When we bring up other cultures ( Indians, Asians ), we always talk about how they practice group economics, But we always overlook that they take marriage seriously, there's no such thing as a "baby mamma" or " single mother". Both parents are always in the home, I can see the disbelief on some of their faces when I tell them "my son doesn't live with me" , they truly do not understand the concept of the Father and Mother not being together.I also assume the reason why alot of yall skip over this subject is because you aren't a parent, so you don't see on a daily basis the influence you have over somebody ( Its truly nothing like it ).
To give an example, I have 2 female cousins. Both about the same age. One was raised by just her mother and the other one had both parents in the home. The single mother one was has a kid( she's like 21 - 24 ), out here having 3somes ,broke and really has no future. The other one just graduated from John Hopkins and has a job as some sort of Designer with an office over looking the Harbor, with a boyfriend whose a personal trainer. They don't even hang out with each other even though they live like 10 minutes from each other.
My other cousin passed away a few months back from a drug overdoes, him and his other 2 siblings were raised by my grandmother, who was really to old to be raising them. She had to raise them because my Aunt was a junkie and the father wasn't around.
My 18 yr old nephew Father has been in prison his whole life, So are you surprised to hear my nephew has been in and out of jail himself and currently on house arrest?
I don't mean to speak in absolutes, But you have to see the connection here. I grew up with both of my parents and still spend the night over there sometimes , I made about 90K this year w/ no college degree, while everybody else I know who grew up in my hood are either dead, In prison or working some bum ass job and I don't remember meeting any of their fathers.. No disrespect to females, But they can't raise a man by themselves. There view on the world is totally different and I'm reminded of that when dealing with my sons mother and how to raise him.
This issue is probably the #1 least talked about issue when we start talking about the black community and its because its easier to name the other solutions because how can you tell a man to take care of his kid? How can we tell nikkas to stop fukking random hoes and think its a trophy? How can we tell dudes to stop referring to our females as "bytches, hoes, thots"? Its a thousand times easier to say "Start a business" or only shop at black owned stores. But start saying lets get rid of degrading our females and start thinking about marriage ( like other cultures ) and nikkas will be likeand that same attiude is the reason our females are the leaders of the community.
The we don't support each other is a overblown fact. I tend to ignore it most of the time, because the facts is what you stated in your post. I brought the same point in another thread that Super_Cool had created based on economics. Some of you guys say "we don't support each other" maybe that's because they aren't many opportunities to support each other?
There are very little black businesses around my way. If there were some black owned grocery stores or restaurants (Outside of Jamaican spots) or shyt for my everyday needs I wouldn't be fukking with other businesses and support my people exclusively.
Just a thought. I know this is a pity party thread though.
Not only this but people in all groups do this. I don't know why cats love being ignorant saying stuff that makes no sense.I'm going to say no. A minority of us obsess over clothes/cars/jewelries sound more correct

You nikkas are dumb. I still see racism as a problem, but household unity and its effects trump it. But i guess thats a problem.Yo @Matt504 is right
This n#gga talmbout: Diabetes? That's like 10th on the list. We need to be worrying about why her foot is missing from her body and why her blood sugar is crazy. Then we can talk about diabetes! Now, where's that foot?!
I nominate n#ggas like @Nomad1 as one of the major problems for 100, Alex

Cats STILL dont realize what rap is doing to our collective minds. And the widely know fact that this poison is PURPOSELY pushed to the black youth makes it worse. Do u understand wat propaganda is? Dr Umar Johnson --- Explains the Affect of Propaganda on the BLACK Mind:
