It always rubbed me the wrong way when Muggs was like "they know mexicans run LA"

I don't caught up in this type of thing. Overall Mexicans have a better track record of working together & keeping family & community intact.

It not about being stronger and scarier. Tough brothers die everyday. In the end, you can't maintan any power without being organized.
So what are you trying to say? Cuz you say you don't get caught up in this type of thing yet hyping up Mexicans

Fair enough, but even if I'm wrong and they don't throw it in the bushes,my point still stands. Hiphop music is the most popular among damn near every young demographic of people of every race though. If you guys are okay with latinos copying black american culture, lingo, style and doing US in a safer, more non threatning package. All while seemingly giving nothing back to the culture, knock yourselves out:hubie:
lol @ you trying to police Cardi B. :mjlol:
She's way more Hip Hop than anyone currently not rapping. Because you know . . . she puts out rap songs. . . and she's from the Bronx. :heh:

According to @BmoreGorilla and @smokeurobinson we owe latinos a debt of grattitude for their participation in the culture:francis:

Glad we know what it is:mjpls:
As far as Emceeing goes there are way more latino rappers from NY than you probably realize.
Alot of them just pass for black and no one pushes the issue because of the relationship between blacks/latinos in nyc.
Outside of emceeing when you look at the other elements of hip hop (break dancing, graffiti etc.) their contributions are even more visible.
In summary I would say that their contributions have been diminished and even downplayed within Hip Hop.
I could see an argument being made by someone saying that the world owes them a debt of gratitude.
The difference here is that most of the spanish population from nyc are descendants of african slaves while this sn't the case with mexicans.
Trying to lump bother groups into the same boat simply because they speak spanish would be erroneous.
Many latinos in nyc identify with being black and acknowledge their african heritage.

Fukk Muggs, but can we talk about Mack 10's quotables in this clip?

"My daddy was a gangsta"

"WC was like, he know them and he didn't want to be a part of it...Nicca I don't give a fukk if I know you or not..."

"I thought that shyt was WACK (Suge knight blink/twitch)"
"The most difficult part about it was to diss Sen Dog. Sen Dog actually had a conversation with Cube like 'Look, I heard No Vaseline...I don't want to parts of this shyt :whoa:'.....and we STILL went in on him!...fukk Sen Dogg too :yeshrug:"

:heh: Every time I see Mack 10 I think of the story Gillie told about him gambling with Baby. "fukk this video game, I'm a GANGSTER"

Ive watched the Beef dvds for mad years, but i still always laugh at Mack 10s parts. Mack 1-0 was funny as hell.

I called Cardi B a culture vulture, and you laughed like that is impossible because she is a latina from the Bronx.
This is where I disagree, and this is where it gets dangerous. The logic makes no sense to begin with really, plus Cardi is 25 and you talking like she grew up watching KRS discuss hiphop:mjlol:

Plus as Latino population takes over the Bronx, when will your logic expire? I expect latino culture to be dominant,as they throw hiphop culture in the bushes.

"According to a 2013 Census Bureau estimate,[6] 45.8% of the Bronx's population was white, 43.3% was black or African American, 4.2% Asian, 3.0% American Indian, 0.4% Pacific Islander, and 3.3% of two or more races. In addition, 54.6% of the population was of Hispanic or Latino origin, of any race."

This is like saying whites or asians in L.A or the Bay couldn't be vultures because of heavy participation in the culture. But I guess you think the Bronx is some sort of unicorn and always will be.
You definitely read this in that hiphop for beginners book and aren't thinking clear:mjlol:

So your saying just by living in the bronx, you could argue people in the bronx of all races are more hiphop than black people outside of it who have contributed faaaaaar more to the culture:laff:

No you can't argue that at all,but you can argue what I'm saying, and I have done well so far. You guys counter arguments have been "But its the bronx:damn:!"

I think maybe you guys think my argument is that all latinos are culture vultures, which was never said by me at all.

my stance is that latino "participants" like Cardi B should be under the same immediate suspicion as whites, and have not done enough to make that NOT be the case imo.
