I just be at some of these nikkas. MJ was literally the most skilled perimeter defender EVER. Scottie was great, but he ain't make plays like MJ while still being a lock down man on the ball.

Dude was right about his crunch time defense though, MJ saved so many games by getting a big time block or steal late it's crazy. D Wade would get that title for this era, nobody had more big defensive plays down the stretch of this era than Wade.

Was addicted to sports at 5 so I knew enough to make a fair assessment of what I might not have seen "LIVE". Besides, I watch full games of shyt in the 80's and 90's all the time. MJ was nowhere near an overrated defender.

So you were 5 when Jordan was 28? He had a 5/6 year run at being a good defensive player.... but after the age of 28/29, he got thrown defensive accolades because he was popular.... He was the 3rd best defensive player on his team during those championships runs
