Houston
but steals are a huge part of playing defense especially at the PG position :dahell:

Yes, but if he misses the steal, he will give up on the play. He does this frequently.

His decision-making on guarding PnRs is among the best for PGs in the league - which is what PG defense is pretty much comprised of these days. He's good at moving his feet, cutting off lanes and staying in front of his man and is competent at doubling/creating confusion in offensive sets while keeping in proximity to his man.

He's usually guarding the 2nd option though:skip: I would hope Curry's athleticism is good enough to stay in front of an Austin Rivers, Russ Smith, Kendall Marshall. shyt.. I watched Ty Lawson blow by him when they played Houston.

He had to guard Rondo in their game against Sacramento and he was couldn't fight through screens so they were switching. Rondo had no problem getting by him, so they moved Iggy/Barbosa over to guard Rondo or had Draymond coming out to the wing to stop the pass off the screen. Down the stretch they put Klay/Barnes on Rondo.

Against the Nuggets, Mudiay was able to get by him, so they moved Klay/Iggy over. Then Jameer Nelson started going off on Steph so they moved Barnes over to Nelson :huhldup:
They clearly don't want to commit his energy or personal fouls to defense so he gets away with a lot of lazy defensive play:francis:

jordan and montana never lose in the finals or sb

brady and kareem have lost numerous finals and sbs

the end

Alright, that looks fine to me now that its hashed out:

MJ = Montana

Kareem = Brady

Steph = Aaron Rodgers

The Truth
I said 40 from the 3 point line. Thats 90% of players career highs
I actually caught the sarcasm

But anyway, I remember last year when Curry said he was offensively better than Lebron and nikkas laughed...

:sas2:

What dude is doing hasn't been done before and eventually teams will have to spend there entire defensive effort (film preparation, drills, play scenarios) on stopping him.. I think that's more on the lines of what KG meant. And honestly, Steph has been doing it most his career. He's just stepped it up after last year

You might start hearing those "MVP" chants in other arenas pretty soon...

Just like what eventually happened to the original Shooting Gawd himself:wow:

Kobe is Brady don't get it twisted..

But what else besides be a top 1-3 in steals or top 5-10 in steals every year does he need to be considered a good/great defender?

You want him to block shots at 6'1 as well?

AI was always considered a great defender but all he did was play passing lanes as well

And the only time you'll see a superstar guard another superstar is playoff time/clutchtime in games. Most superstars don't guard each other regularly because it takes energy away from offense unless they're known as a lockdown defender.

I've only seen 2 superstar guards do it regularly and that's MJ and Kobe...

D.Wade as well

Curry is good on the defensive end. Maybe not a lockdown defender but not as bad as you're trying to make him seem

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Is it really that hard to discuss a player's greatness without bringing MJ into it? :why:

Steph is a beast. He's an anomaly. He's turned conventional wisdom on its ear (for himself only).

See how easy that was? It's gotta be either laziness, lack of vocab, or just plain attention whoring.

Nothing can be appreciated, it has to be compared to Jordan and the Bulls.

Lebron was never must see tv

One of the most boring superstars of all time

100% facts

I've never once gone out of my way to watch lebron James play basketball. One of the ugliest/robotic games. After watching the goat and even Kobe ball, watching lebron is :scust:
Curry on the other hand :whew: Twitter alerts start going off, texts start blowing up :blessed:
