it should , if you have one with Open Wrt and have it tunnel to a U.S ( or whatever country you need ) server.
depending on the internet speed , the vpn will slow it down
i had to do this years ago before we switched to remote desktops , so someone may have better knowledge of the current process.
our login apps are now configured to link to our east or west coast servers on login.
